Air Conditioning - For Total Environmental Control

The MLC Centre's environmental control system is designed to provide maximum comfort and flexibility throughout the working environment with the maximum possible efficiency.

A total of 42 thermal zones are provided on each tenanted floor which can be expanded to 66 zones offering maximum flexibility and diversity to the tenant.

Around the perimeter of each floor there are 48 air conditioning induction units, generally divided into pairs, to provide 24 independently controlled zones.

In the internal area on each floor individual air conditioning variable air volume (VAV) boxes provide on average 18 separate and individually controlled thermal zones again ensuring individual rooms can obtain preset levels of comfort regardless of each rooms internal load.

A dedicated condenser water system throughout the tower provides additional capacity for packaged air conditioning units for computer rooms, print rooms and conference areas.

To cater for tenants additional requirements supplementary fresh air and supplementary exhaust air risers are also provided to each tower level.

After hours air conditioning is available on a floor by floor basis and can be easily initiated by dialling into the Building Automation System via the Phone Control facility.   MLC Centre management can provide a login for this system.
